GRASSE
The French capital of perfumery – here are located the main perfume factories and boutiques. The city is rich in history. In the majestic cathedral, you can see several paintings by Rubens. From the viewing platform of the former episcopal palace, beautiful views can be enjoyed.
VENCE AND THE MATISSE CHAPEL
An ancient town with narrow streets and a unique cathedral, where you can see the floor of the Roman Temple of Mars, early medieval artifacts, baroque elements, a mosaic by Chagall, and a unique collection of wooden sculptures. Near Vence is a chapel, the building and all its interior decoration of which were designed by Matisse.
