It is better to start exploring interesting places with an island of vegetation located near a natural reservoir. Here you will

get acquainted with the most exotic trees, flowers and bushes. It was opened for tourists in 1882. Reviews about this place are only positive. Literally everything in it is

amazing - elegant sidewalks, decorative ponds with swans, sculptures. Plants in the garden are collected from all over

the world, and some were planted in the ground more than 300 years ago. Getting to know the botanical garden will be

Basilica of Our Lady of Ta' Pinu.

What to see in Malta in 1 day? Visit the Catholic church, which is located on the island of Gozo. Once upon a time there was a

16th-century chapel on its site, but in 1920 the construction of a modern church began, and it lasted 1 years. The building rises in the middle of the countryside, surrounded by hills. As Malta's guides say, this is a striking example of the technical use of local stone. The interior decoration is represented by paintings carved from natural stone, mosaics, and nave friezes.

The unique appearance of the megalithic temple complex Mnajdra.

Its image is on small coins. The buildings for worship are located in the southern part of the country, right on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. It is unknown when Mnajdra was built, but it is estimated to have been built in 3600 BC. The main building material used was strong coral limestone. It is characterized by resistance to water and sunlight. In order to protect it from adverse weather conditions, the complex is covered with a tent. It is open to visitors, but it is difficult to appreciate the grandeur of the megalith here.

Under the rays of the sun, the water acquires a bright blue color, which shimmers with a variety of shades. The total depth of the grotto is 45 m. This place was chosen by the British military, who loved to relax there with their families. This landmark of Malta can often be seen in movies. It is interesting to know that the authorities have set a limit on its

visits. No more than 25 boats with tourists on board can visit the cave complex per day. The reason for this is the complex terrain, intense sea waves in the described area. Here you can not only admire the unusual shades of water, the unique shape of rock formations, but also climb on them and go diving.
